Tamil Nadu CM C. Joseph Vijay to Present TVK Education Awards to Board Exam Toppers
Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay will host the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Education Awards, honoring district toppers of the Class 10 and Class 12 state board examinations. The ceremony is slated for the last week of July or the first week of August and will be held at a private hotel in Mahabalipuram.
The event marks the first TVK awards ceremony since Vijay assumed the chief ministerial post, underscoring the party’s longstanding outreach to students. While the awards remain a TVK initiative, gold medals and certificates will be presented by the party, not the state government. District secretaries are coordinating with the selected students and their families to arrange travel to Chennai for the function.
The awards, launched in 2023, recognize the top three scorers from each assembly constituency in both classes and have become a high‑visibility programme for the ruling party.
