Several AIADMK legislators are reportedly in talks with the emerging Tamil Victory (TVK) faction, expressing dissatisfaction with party leadership and hinting at possible resignations that could trigger by‑elections in dozens of constituencies. Within the DMK, internal disputes surfaced as senior members offered only minimal birthday greetings to former minister Duraimurugan, while other leaders have shifted allegiance to TVK. These moves reflect growing intra‑party tensions and could reshape the state’s political landscape ahead of future elections.
