Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam expands media wing and welcomes over 1,000 AIADMK defectors

On August 3, Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam (TVK) president C. Joseph Vijay announced the expansion of the party's Media and Communications Wing. He named CTR Nirmalkumar and A Rajmohan as chief spokespersons, with Rajmohan also heading the wing, and appointed a roster of national and state spokespersons, coordinators and digital media representatives, including YouTuber Felix Gerald and advocate Dr M Sathyakumar.

The following weekend, roughly 1,000 former AIADMK members gathered at TVK headquarters in Panaiyur to join the party. Among them were former Member of Parliament M Udhayakumar and former MLAs K S Srinivasan and G R Mala. State Minister N Anand and Minister P Venkataraman welcomed the defectors, and TVK said enrollment will continue each Saturday.
