Tampico implements traffic changes on Boulevard Adolfo López Mateos

Authorities in Tampico have implemented new traffic adjustments on Boulevard Adolfo López Mateos to improve flow and driver safety. Following a road engineering study, the Traffic and Roadways department has introduced a storage lane near Hangares Street, allowing vehicles turning left toward the Nuevo Aeropuerto neighborhood to wait without obstructing northbound traffic.

Additionally, officials have removed a U-turn located after the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas pedestrian bridge, identifying it as a high-risk area for accidents. Erick Sifuentes Hernández, subdirector of Traffic and Roadways, stated that these technical modifications aim to reduce vehicle conflicts and enhance overall mobility in the sector.
