Tan Cheng Hoe prepares Malaysia squad for ASEAN Cup

Malaysia's interim national football coach, Tan Cheng Hoe, is preparing the Harimau Malaya squad for the upcoming ASEAN Cup. While concerns have been raised regarding the fitness of naturalized player Sergio Aguero, who is currently recovering from a hamstring injury at PSM Makassar, Tan Cheng Hoe expressed confidence in the overall fitness of his 23-man squad.

Because the Malaysian League is currently active, the coach noted that players are maintaining competitive match fitness through their respective clubs. The squad features several key additions, including Bergson Da Silva and Brad Tapp, whom the coach believes will bolster the attack and defense, respectively. The team aims to reach the tournament final under the leadership of the Football Association of Malaysia.
