Tanjong Malim Hi-Tech Park breaks ground with RM1.4 billion GDV

The Tanjong Malim Hi-Tech Park, a development spanning approximately 180.93 hectares, has officially broken ground with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM1.4 billion. Developed by Setia Awan Land Sdn Bhd, the project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2029.

Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad stated that the park is designed to strengthen the Muallim district's position as an automotive and industrial hub. The development aims to complement the existing Automotive High-Tech Valley (AHTV) ecosystem by attracting vendors, component manufacturers, technology providers, and logistics services. The project is projected to create approximately 15,000 jobs.

For the first phase of development, which covers 42.09 hectares, approximately 50 percent of the land has already been acquired. Notable investors already involved in the first phase include Ningbo Fresh Technology and Sheentech Automotive Systems.
