Tanzania advances healthcare infrastructure and digital governance cooperation
Tanzania is advancing several domestic and international administrative initiatives. In the Mwibara constituency, Minister of State Prof. Riziki Shemdoe announced that the government is seeking funds to construct health centers in high-need wards, including Namhula, Chitengule, Igundu, Nansimo, and Nampindi. These facilities aim to bring emergency and surgical services closer to residents in areas with populations exceeding 10,000.
On the international front, a Somali government delegation led by Minister Hirsi Jama Ganni is visiting Tanzania to study its digital public service systems. Minister of State Ridhwani Kikwete noted that the visit highlights Somalia's recognition of Tanzania's expertise in digital governance, employment coordination, and pension systems. The delegation aims to learn from Tanzania's successful implementation of digital tools in public administration.
