Taranto installs 'EMBRACE THE FUTURE' lighting on historic bridge for 2026 Mediterranean Games

A large illuminated installation bearing the words “EMBRACE THE FUTURE” was mounted on Taranto’s iconic movable bridge between midnight and 4 a.m. The lettering, created in aluminum and polycarbonate and lit by LEDs, was designed by local architect and designer Claudia Pignatale with collaborator Edoardo Giammarioli. Production was handled by Rome‑based firm BOTW, while the Navy and the municipality provided technical assistance. The display will remain in place until mid‑September, serving as a visual emblem for the upcoming XX Mediterranean Games, scheduled to run in Taranto from 21 August to 3 September 2026.
