Metalworkers' unions, including Fim, Fiom, Uilm, and Usb, are demanding immediate government intervention at Palazzo Chigi. They are calling for a concrete industrial reindustrialization plan, job guarantees, and extraordinary social safety nets to prevent a social crisis in the region. The unions emphasize that decarbonization and ecological transition must not lead to industrial desertification or mass layoffs in the supply chain.
