Tarik Muharemović credits Serie A for tactical growth

Leeds United defender Tarik Muharemović has credited his five years in Italy for his tactical and defensive development. Speaking to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 23-year-old Bosnian player highlighted his time at Juventus and Sassuolo as essential periods for his growth.

Muharemović expressed gratitude toward several veteran players who aided his progression, specifically mentioning Leo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Nemanja Matić, and Jay Idzes. While acknowledging that some coaches during his time in Italy did not always have his best interests at heart, he stated his desire to move past those early years and focus on his current role.

After joining Leeds United for €37 million, Muharemović has become a key figure in the team's defense. He noted that while decisions regarding his future at Juventus were made by club management, he is happy to be competing in the Premier League to prove his capabilities.
