Tarik Muharemović discusses Leeds United transfer and career

Bosnian defender Tarik Muharemović has discussed his career trajectory and his recent high-profile transfer to Leeds United. The 23-year-old joined the English club in a deal worth 40 million euros following a stint at Sassuolo.

Muharemović, who began his career in the Juventus youth academy, cited playing alongside legends like Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci as formative experiences. He noted that the strategic plans presented by Leeds United and his discussions with manager Daniel Farke were decisive factors in his move to the Premier League.

The defender also addressed a controversial moment during the World Cup involving a collision with Folarin Balogun. While the incident resulted in a red card for Balogun after a VAR review, Muharemović confirmed he escaped serious injury and maintained that the contact was unintentional.
