Tarik Muharemović named Leeds United Player of the Month

Leeds United fans have voted Bosnian international Tarik Muharemović as the club’s ‘Hero of the Month’ for August. The 23-year-old defender, who recently joined from Sassuolo, secured 41 percent of the fan vote.

Muharemović established himself in the starting lineup under manager Daniel Farke, playing every minute of his appearances during the month. His performances included three Premier League matches and one EFL Cup fixture.

Statistically, the defender recorded 207 touches, 139 successful passes, and 32 defensive interventions during his initial appearances. He finished ahead of goalkeeper James Trafford, who received 31 percent of the votes, and Ao Tanaka, who received 9 percent.
