Tarique Rahman warns against anarchy and misinformation

Tarique Rahman, the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has warned that legal action will be taken against any political parties or individuals attempting to create anarchy by spreading misinformation during the country's current crises.

Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion organized to mark the 48th anniversary of the BNP at the Bangladesh Agricultural Institute in Dhaka, Rahman addressed the challenges inherited from previous autocratic and interim administrations. He stated that while the government acknowledges existing problems, it will not tolerate attempts to exploit these issues to incite chaos.

Rahman emphasized the government's commitment to upholding democratic principles and ethics. He urged all parties to remain within their legal limits, noting that the law provides clear provisions for controlling those who attempt to disrupt order.

Additionally, Rahman expressed regret to industrial owners and citizens suffering from electricity and fuel shortages. He noted that the BNP is developing work plans to ensure that future energy crises do not further burden the public.
