Tarnobrzeg Hospital Holds Children’s Health Day with 569 Screenings

On 20 June 2026 the Wojewódzki Szpital im. Zofii z Zamoyskich Tarnowskiej in Tarnobrzeg hosted a Children’s Health Day aimed at families in the region. The event offered 569 preventive examinations and consultations, including 261 laboratory tests, 118 specialist talks, 55 vision checks, 35 hearing checks, 45 body‑composition analyses and basic vital‑sign measurements. Participants received pediatric, ENT, ophthalmology and neonatology consultations, as well as first‑aid workshops. Adults could also obtain basic health checks and counseling on chronic‑disease prevention. The hospital thanked its medical staff, volunteers, student helpers from the State Academy of Applied Sciences, and partner organisations such as the local sanitary‑epidemiological station, the National Health Fund – Subcarpathian branch, and several media outlets for supporting the initiative.
