Tarnów pilgrimage and Katowice Lutheran parish announce community and charity events

Bishop Andrzej Jeż led a homily at the annual pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Scapular in Tarnów, urging the faithful to view suffering as temporary and praising the peace found by the sick. The event, part of a week‑long indulgence, included Masses, a procession and a novena, and concluded with prayers for families and the nation.

Separately, the Evangelical‑Lutheran parish in Katowice released a schedule of local activities, including a school‑year‑end service, a choir rehearsal, a cemetery tour, an organ music festival, and a fundraiser to support the reconstruction of a Lutheran church in Ukraine. Parish members were invited to participate in picnics, concerts and charitable donations.

Both announcements reflect ongoing religious engagement in Poland, combining worship, community outreach and cross‑border solidarity.
