Tarragona Castells Competition draw sets performance order

The order of performance and positions for the 30th Tarragona Castells Competition have been determined following a draw held at the Auditori Pau Casals in El Vendrell. The event, which coincided with the 150th anniversary of musician Pau Casals, established the schedule for the participating human tower groups (colles) across the competition's three sessions.

In Torredembarra, the Castellers de Badalona will be the first to perform solo if they attempt a tower of equal or greater difficulty than a 5d7. The Colla Xiquets de Cambrils will make their competition debut during this session. Changes to the competition format in Torredembarra include a single joint round per turn and a lowered difficulty threshold for solo performances.

At the TAP (Torredembarra, Altafulla, and Prat), the Colla Jove de Castellers de Sitges is set to open the Saturday session if they attempt a tower of at least 3d difficulty. The Castellers de Vilafranca are scheduled to close the rounds on Sunday. On that same Sunday, the Castellers de Barcelona will open the session at the TAP provided they attempt a tower of at least 4d9 with folre.
