Tarragona to host Castells competition awards ceremony on October 31

The XXX Concurs de Castells in Tarragona will hold its awards ceremony on Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 h in Plaça de la Font. The event is open to the public and will be free of charge, with live broadcasts available on TAC12 and La Xarxa.

In addition to the main awards for the participating groups, the ceremony will recognize the best 'grallers' groups for their essential musical contributions to the tradition.

The rescheduled ceremony follows the recent competition held on October 3 and 4, which faced disruptions due to adverse weather conditions and restrictions from the INUNCAT emergency plan. These exceptional circumstances forced modifications to the competition schedule to ensure the safety of participants and the public. The organization intends for this event to provide institutional closure to the 30th edition, acknowledging the high level of performance and the adaptability shown by all involved entities.
