Tata Motors launches facelifted Tiago and Tiago EV in India

Tata Motors announced that the refreshed Tata Tiago hatchback and its electric version will be launched on 28 May 2026 in India. The facelift introduces a sharper front fascia with LED headlamps, new pastel colour options, larger infotainment screens, a layered dashboard, and updated interior trims. The EV model gains a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pads and USB‑C fast‑charging ports, while the ICE version retains its 1.2 L petrol engine and CNG options.

Mechanically the powertrains remain unchanged: the Tiago EV will continue with 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs delivering roughly 250‑315 km of range. Recent sales show the Tiago line sold about 39,800 units between November 2025 and April 2026, averaging over 6,600 units per month, with demand expected to be boosted by the new launch.
