Tata Motors unveils Sierra EV and rolls out major Curvv EV discounts in India
Tata Motors launched the production‑spec Tata Sierra EV in India on June 30, 2026, pricing it from ₹18.79 lakh up to ₹25.99 lakh. Built on the Acti.ev platform, the SUV offers two battery packs – 63 kWh (565 km claimed range) and 75 kWh (up to 665 km MIDC range). It is available in rear‑wheel‑drive and dual‑motor all‑wheel‑drive formats, with the top AWD variant accelerating from 0‑100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Deliveries are slated to begin on 15 July 2026. Tata announced a “Sanctuary Edition” for wildlife parks and said further special editions for both the ICE Sierra and Sierra EV are expected by year‑end. The company also confirmed plans to export the Sierra EV to right‑hand‑drive markets, beginning with several African countries such as South Africa.
In parallel, Tata Motors offered steep July discounts on its Curvv EV. Older Curvv variants receive up to ₹3.35 lakh in combined cash‑discount and exchange/scrappage benefits, while newer Series X models get up to ₹0.65 lakh in bonuses. The Curvv EV is priced between ₹16.99 lakh and ₹19.19 lakh, houses a 55 kWh battery delivering a claimed 502 km range, and features Level‑2 ADAS, a 360° camera, six airbags and premium interior equipment. The offers vary by dealership and are aimed at clearing older inventory.
