Tata Motors launches Tiago EV facelift under ₹10 L with 200 km range

Tata Motors introduced a facelifted version of its Tata Tiago EV in early June 2026, keeping the price close to the previous model – the entry variant is priced below ₹7  lakh and the top trim stays under ₹9  lakh, making it one of India’s cheapest electric cars. The update adds a modern front design, new colour options and a revamped cabin featuring a larger touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, 360° camera, blind‑view monitor, six airbags, auto‑folding mirrors and other premium touches.

The vehicle is equipped with a 24 kWh battery pack that delivers roughly 200 km of range on a single charge, and Tata offers a lifetime warranty on the battery. The model continues to be available with a Battery‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS) scheme to lower upfront costs. The launch targets budget‑conscious Indian consumers and positions the Tiago EV against other low‑cost electric offerings such as the MG Comet EV.

Overall, the facelift emphasizes affordability, enhanced safety and connectivity while retaining the compact size suited for city driving.
