Tata Motors offers vehicle discounts and reports varying delivery wait times

Tata Motors is offering significant discounts across its petrol, CNG, and electric vehicle (EV) lineups in India for August. Savings vary by model, with some electric vehicles potentially offering benefits exceeding 3.35 lakh rupees through a combination of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, scrappage benefits, and loyalty rewards.

Specific offers include up to 1.45 lakh rupees in benefits for older Tiago EV stock and similar savings for the Punch EV. The Altroz features cash benefits up to 35,000 rupees and exchange support up to 15,000 rupees. While the new Tiago facelift lacks official discounts, older variants of the Tiago and Tigor may see dealer-level cash discounts of up to 15,000 rupees.

In terms of availability, delivery wait times vary significantly by model. The Tiago EV and Punch EV face the longest delays, with some variants requiring 18 to 24 weeks. Conversely, the Tigor, Altroz, and Curvv models generally have shorter wait times of approximately 1 to 2 weeks. Diesel versions of the Harrier and Safari are also relatively quick to deliver, with waits of only 2 to 3 weeks, whereas their petrol counterparts may take 10 to 12 weeks.
