Tata Motors raises prices of Safari SUV and Altroz hatchback in India
Tata Motors announced a price revision for its three‑row Safari SUV in India, increasing ex‑showroom prices by Rs 10,000 to Rs 61,000. The SUV now costs between Rs 13.40 lakh and Rs 26.50 lakh, with no new features or mechanical updates introduced.
The company also lifted prices for its Altroz hatchback. Depending on trim and power‑train, the hike ranges up to Rs 13,000, moving the ex‑showroom price band to Rs 6.29 lakh‑Rs 10.79 lakh. The base Smart+ trim remains unchanged, while petrol, diesel and CNG variants see varied increases of Rs 3,000‑Rs 13,000.
