Tata Motors set to launch Sierra EV electric SUV on June 30

Tata Motors has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming Sierra EV, an electric sport‑utility vehicle slated for launch on 30 June in Mumbai. The teaser confirms the model will feature a dual‑motor quad‑wheel‑drive (AWD) system, marking the company’s second EV after the Harrier EV. Reports suggest the SUV will be built on the same platform as the Harrier EV, offering battery options up to 75 kWh and torque around 500 Nm.

Design cues shown include a closed front grille, full‑width LED DRL bar, clamshell bonnet and premium interior appointments such as three dashboard screens, a JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, AR‑based head‑up display and a large panoramic sunroof. Additional features may comprise dual‑zone climate control, electric parking brake, powered tailgate, advanced ADAS and a sizable boot. The Sierra EV will sit below the Harrier EV in Tata’s EV lineup and could become the brand’s seventh electric model.
