Tata Motors to increase commercial vehicle prices from October 1
Tata Motors has announced it will increase prices for its commercial vehicle range by up to 1 per cent, effective October 1, 2026. According to a stock exchange filing, the price adjustments will vary by model and variant.
The company stated the revision is intended to offset rising commodity prices and other input costs. This marks the second price increase for the commercial vehicle segment this year, following a previous hike of up to 1.5 per cent in April 2026.
The move follows similar trends within the broader Tata Motors business. The passenger vehicle unit previously raised prices for both electric and internal combustion engine models by up to 1.5 per cent on July 1. Other major automakers in the region, including Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motor India, have also implemented price increases recently due to rising logistics, supply-chain, and commodity costs.
