Tata Motors to raise vehicle prices from July 2026
Tata Motors Ltd. announced that, effective 1 July 2026, it will increase prices across its commercial vehicle portfolio by up to 2.5%, and raise prices of its passenger cars and SUVs by up to 1.5%. The adjustments are intended to partially offset higher commodity, raw‑material and other input‑cost pressures.
The company, part of the USD 180 billion Tata Group and India’s largest manufacturer of trucks, buses, cars and SUVs, said the exact increase will vary by model and variant. The moves come as manufacturers balance inflation‑driven cost inflation with customer affordability, and are expected to affect fleet operators, transport businesses and individual buyers throughout India and in the company’s overseas markets.
