Tata Motors to unveil Sierra electric SUV in India on June 30, 2026

Tata Motors will debut the Sierra EV, the electric version of its iconic Sierra SUV, in India on June 30, 2026. The model will sit between the Curvv EV and the flagship Harrier EV in Tata’s growing electric lineup, becoming the company’s seventh EV passenger vehicle in the country.

The Sierra EV is expected to offer rear‑wheel‑drive and an all‑wheel‑drive variant, powered by battery packs of 55 kWh, 65 kWh or 75 kWh, delivering a claimed range of about 500 km on a single charge. It will be built on Tata’s Gen 2 Acti.ev platform and support fast charging, Vehicle‑to‑Load and Vehicle‑to‑Vehicle charging.

Inside, Tata plans a feature‑rich cabin with a triple‑screen layout, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, dual‑zone climate control and a digital instrument cluster. Pricing is projected between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh, with bookings likely to open shortly after the launch and a formal price announcement expected by July‑August 2026.
