Tata Motors Unveils Design Details for 2026 Tata Tigor Facelift

Tata Motors is preparing a major update for its compact sedan, the Tata Tigor, slated for a 2026 facelift. The new design, revealed through an official patent rendering, shows a sharper front bumper, revised grille and LED headlamps that echo the recently launched Tiago, along with a refreshed side profile, new alloy wheels and a revised rear bumper and tail‑lamp layout. Inside, the facelift is expected to bring an updated infotainment system, a free‑standing screen, digital instrument cluster and additional cabin touches, while mechanical specifications will largely remain unchanged, continuing with the existing 1.2‑litre petrol engine and CNG option, and an electric variant that may use the same battery packs as the Tiago EV.

The facelift is positioned to revive interest in the Tigor as sales in the sedan segment have declined and buyers shift toward SUVs. Tata aims to launch the refreshed model by the end of the year, offering both petrol and electric versions, shortly after the Tata Sierra EV debut scheduled for 30 June.
