Tata Motors' 2026 facelift of the electric compact SUV Punch EV has been awarded a five‑star safety rating by the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP). The vehicle achieved an Adult Occupant Protection score of 31.09 out of 32 and a Child Occupant Protection score of 45 out of 49, meeting the programme’s highest safety tier.

The rating covers all six variants of the Punch EV, including models with 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery packs.
