Overview
In late July 2026 Tata Motors’ refreshed electric version of its compact SUV, the Punch EV, received a five‑star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, scoring near the top in adult and child occupant protection. Sales between August 2025 and July 2026 rose 27.9 % year‑on‑year, with a record 21,313 units sold in July 2026 alone. The model’s availability in petrol, CNG and electric powertrains, combined with its feature set, has driven strong demand across both ICE and EV segments.
