Tata Sierra EV reviewed: performance, features and pricing unveiled

Tata Motors launched the all‑electric Sierra EV, extending its Sierra SUV line in India. The EV retains the ICE model’s overall shape but adds a distinct front fascia, revised bumper designs, and two exclusive paint options. Pricing starts at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex‑showroom), nearly matching the turbo‑petrol version.

The vehicle measures 4,340 mm long, 1,841 mm wide and 1,750 mm high, with a 2,730 mm wheelbase, 205 mm ground clearance and 19‑inch EV‑optimised alloy wheels. It offers a 622‑liter boot and a 55‑liter front trunk. Inside, a triple‑screen layout—10.25‑inch cluster, 12.3‑inch infotainment and a passenger display—hosts features such as ventilated front seats with memory, dual‑zone climate control, a 12‑speaker JBL Black audio system with Dolby Atmos, head‑up display, wireless charging, digital key, auto‑park assist and Level 2 ADAS. Test drives in Coimbatore covered city streets, highways, a race track and off‑road sections; reviewers highlighted strong performance, ample cabin space and a well‑equipped interior, while noting some seat stiffness.
