Tata Sierra EV Variants Compared: Price, Range and Performance

Tata Motors has introduced the Sierra EV in two configurations for the Indian market. The dual‑motor QWD version costs about ₹26 lakh, delivers roughly 300 PS, more than 500 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0‑100 km/h in under six seconds. Its 63 kWh battery provides a claimed range of 624 km.

The single‑motor RWD models are cheaper; the 75 kWh battery pack offers the longest range at 665 km but with lower power – 209 hp (RWD 75 kWh) or 238 hp (RWD 63 kWh). The RWD 75 kWh variant is positioned as the more sensible purchase for buyers prioritising distance over sportiness.

Compared with rival electric SUVs such as the MG Windsor EV Pro, the Sierra EV’s larger 63 kWh pack (versus 52.9 kWh) translates to a longer claimed range of 565 km versus 449 km, and it also offers higher power output. These specifications place the Sierra EV as a competitive option in India’s sub‑₹20 lakh electric SUV segment.
