Tauroemoción unveils 150‑year Feria de la Malagueta programme in Málaga

The bull‑fighting promotion firm Tauroemoción presented the poster programme for the 150th anniversary Feria de la Malagueta in Málaga during a gala at the María Victoria Atencia Cultural Centre. The event was attended by toreros, breeders, local officials and singer María Toledo; provincial president Francisco Salado also took part. Young artist Isabelita Lería created the festival poster and CEO Alberto García announced a line‑up that doubles the presence of leading toreros such as Morante, Roca Rey, Fortes, David de Miranda and Emilio de Justo.

The season will feature seven bullfights, two novilladas with picadors and one rejoneo fight, plus the National Cutting Competition and an International Bullfighting Schools contest. Ticket subscriptions receive discounts of more than 40 %. Special extra spectacles include the "Sabor a Málaga" extraordinary bullfight, a tribute to Málaga CF, a youth bullfight and an extraordinary fight marking the plaza’s 150‑year milestone. The schedule runs from 8 August to 20 August, and Victorino Martín returns after a 12‑year absence.

This programme aims to strengthen the traditional festival and draw large audiences to La Malagueta’s historic arena.
