Tax Administration in FBiH issues 376,000 KM in fines

The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) conducted 240 inspections across various sectors, including hospitality, trade, bakery, and construction. The operations resulted in approximately 375,975 KM in fines and the sealing of 44 business premises.

Key findings from the inspections include the discovery of 58 unregistered workers and 10 businesses operating without necessary permits. Additionally, inspectors identified seven taxpayers without installed fiscal devices and 76 taxpayers who failed to record transactions through fiscal devices.

Data indicates that 52 percent of the inspected taxpayers were not in compliance with valid laws. In the Sarajevo Canton, 30 controls led to 11 unregistered workers being found and 34,000 KM in fines. In the Tuzla Canton, 36 controls were conducted, resulting in nearly 90,000 KM in penalties.
