Tax Department deploys AI Chatbot on eTax Mobile

The Tax Department has enhanced its eTax Mobile application by deploying an AI-powered Chatbot to assist taxpayers. This virtual assistant is designed to provide instant answers regarding tax laws, policies, and specific taxpayer information.

Users can interact with the chatbot using text or voice in both Vietnamese and English. The system can retrieve personal data such as tax debts, tax enforcement status, entry/exit suspension information, tax finalization details, and dependent information. Additionally, the AI provides guidance on complex procedures, such as assisting household businesses in completing form 01/CNKD using natural language.

For policy-related inquiries, the chatbot synthesizes information from multiple sources and provides direct links to relevant legal documents and citations. This upgrade aims to simplify professional tax operations and facilitate easier access to tax regulations in accordance with government directives on implementing AI in tax management.
