Tay Ninh enhances OCOP product value through traditional crafts
The ‘One Commune, One Product’ (OCOP) program is driving economic development and preserving traditional crafts in Tay Ninh province, Vietnam. In Long Hoa ward, a century-old incense-making village continues to maintain its cultural heritage while adapting to modern market demands.
Local producers, such as the Van Linh Huong incense facility, have integrated modern machinery and digital marketing via platforms like TikTok and Facebook to enhance product quality and reach. Van Linh Huong currently holds three 4-star OCOP certifications. This shift toward modernized production and improved packaging is helping to create sustainable livelihoods for local workers and serve as a bridge for promoting Tay Ninh's image to domestic and international tourists.
