Tây Ninh hosts global supply chain and e-commerce connectivity conference
Tây Ninh Province hosted the 4th Supply Chain Connectivity Conference for Import-Export and E-commerce in 2026. The event, organized by the provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, attracted approximately 650 delegates, including 178 representatives from foreign enterprises across 27 countries and territories.
Major international distributors and corporations such as Amazon, H&M, Central Retail, LuLu, Mixue, Lootah Group, and Spinneys participated. The conference aimed to foster long-term links in production, export, logistics, and e-commerce, helping local businesses transition from simple production to participating in high-value global supply chains.
Provincial Chairman Lê Văn Hẳn highlighted Tây Ninh's strategic geoeconomic position and its international border gates. In 2025, the province's total import-export turnover reached $31.4 billion, a 12.7% increase from the previous year, with exports accounting for $17.8 billion. The province intends to leverage its 18,000 hectares of industrial land and existing industrial clusters to enhance its competitive edge through improved logistics and digital trade infrastructure.
Additionally, local efforts continue to improve essential services in border communes, such as providing medical examinations and health consultations to residents in remote areas like Ninh Điền and Bến Cầu to ensure better healthcare access for the elderly and local workers.
