Tay Ninh orders 53 communes to finalize land management plans by August 30
Tay Ninh Province Chairman Le Van Han has issued an urgent directive requiring local authorities to complete the handover, management, and exploitation of transferred land and housing assets by August 30.
Currently, 53 out of 65 commune-level units have not yet completed their plans for handling or exploiting these assets. Out of 3,387 approved land and housing facilities in the province, 420 are designated for transfer, with 393 already officially handed over via provincial decisions.
The Chairman emphasized that heads of units who fail to meet the deadline will be held accountable. Localities must resolve legal issues regarding land origin, asset status, and rental pricing promptly. Furthermore, those managing the assets are responsible for preventing property degradation, misuse, or encroachment.
