TCE-AM joins Manaus program for gifted students

The Amazonas Court of Accounts (TCE-AM), through its Women's Ombudsman Office, is participating in an educational program developed by the Municipal Education Secretariat (Semed) in Manaus. The initiative is designed to support 150 students with high abilities or giftedness (AH/SD).

The program consists of five weekly online workshops held over three months. It aims to foster the development of students' potential while addressing educational and socio-emotional needs. The curriculum includes topics such as self-knowledge, self-esteem, emotions, bullying, and social coexistence.

To ensure a comprehensive approach, the program involves a ‘tripod’ of students, schools, and families. Technical staff from the TCE-AM will provide specialized support: a psychologist will work with students on socio-emotional aspects, a social worker will guide parents and guardians, and the Director of the Women's Ombudsman will provide teachers with strategies for working with gifted students.
