TCU volleyball heads to South Florida Invitational

The South Florida Invitational volleyball tournament is scheduled to take place in Tampa from September 10-12, featuring No. 11 TCU, the University of South Florida, Dayton, and Michigan.

TCU enters the tournament following a significant week in which the program became the first in Big 12 history to sweep all four weekly conference awards. The honors were awarded to Becca Kelley (Offensive Player of the Week), Alice Volpe (Defensive Player of the Week), Rosemary Archer (Setter of the Week), and Kinsley Young (Rookie of the Week). This follows recent victories over No. 8 SMU and No. 14 Purdue, which propelled the Horned Frogs to the No. 11 spot in the AVCA Coaches Poll.

South Florida, currently ranked tied for 17th nationally in blocks per set, will host the event. The Bulls' Amelia Wass de Czege was recently named the American Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The tournament schedule includes TCU facing USF on Thursday, followed by USF matches against Dayton on Friday and Michigan on Saturday.
