TCU women's volleyball season performance
Overview
The No. 18 TCU volleyball team experienced a period of significant success in early September 2026. The team secured a straight-sets victory against No. 14 Purdue, led by Becca Kelley’s 18 kills. Following this win and a previous victory over No. 8 SMU, TCU rose to the No. 11 spot in the AVCA Coaches Poll. The program also became the first in Big 12 history to sweep all four weekly conference awards, with honors given to Becca Kelley, Alice Volpe, Rosemary Archer, and Kinsley Young.
In mid-September, the team traveled to Tampa for the South Florida Invitational, scheduled for September 10-12, to compete against the University of South Florida, Dayton, and Michigan.
By early October, the team had risen to No. 9 in the rankings and extended its winning streak to 11 matches following a four-set victory over UCF at Schollmaier Arena. This win maintained TCU’s perfect record in Big 12 conference play. Becca Kelley recorded 21 kills during the match, while Evan Hendrix contributed 18 kills and 17 digs. During the contest, senior Jalyn Gibson became the 14th player in TCU history to reach the milestone of 1,000 career kills.
On October 10, the No. 8 ranked Horned Frogs extended their winning streak to 12 matches by sweeping the Arizona Wildcats in three straight sets. TCU maintained a perfect Big 12 record during the match, driven by a .320 team hitting percentage. Becca Kelley led the offense with 12 kills, supported by Jalyn Gibson’s 11 kills and Kinsley Young’s five blocks.
