TCU volleyball sweeps No. 14 Purdue in straight sets

No. 18 TCU swept No. 14 Purdue in three straight sets (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) at Holloway Gymnasium. This victory marks TCU's second ranked win in five days.

TCU's Becca Kelley led the offense with 18 kills on a .471 hitting percentage, while Evan Hendrix recorded 11 kills and 10 digs. The Horned Frogs' defense was a decisive factor, holding Purdue to a .172 hitting percentage and recording 57 digs and eight blocks throughout the match.

Prior to the match, Purdue head coach Dave Shondell was honored for becoming the program's all-time wins leader. Despite a late push in the second and third sets, Purdue was unable to overcome TCU's efficiency. Purdue's Lameen Mambu recorded 13 kills, and Kate Hansen contributed three blocks.
