Teacher recruitment candidates protest in Lucknow

Candidates involved in the 68,500 teacher recruitment process staged a protest in Lucknow near the residence of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. The protesters are demanding justice for OBC candidates and the implementation of an order issued by the State Commission for Backward Classes.

Protesters claimed that the Commission had directed a revision of recruitment results to grant appointments following a reservation scam, but the process remains incomplete. Demonstrators held banners and raised slogans calling for the government to resolve the issue.

Police intervened to prevent the group from reaching the Deputy Chief Minister's residence. Security personnel eventually moved the protesters into a bus and removed them from the area.
