Team Spirit wins third International Dota 2 title in Shanghai

The International 2026, the 15th edition of the premier Dota 2 global esports tournament, concluded on August 23 in Shanghai. Team Spirit secured the Aegis of Champions by defeating Team Vision 3–2 in the Grand Final. This victory marks Team Spirit’s third TI title, making them the first organization in the tournament's history to achieve three championships.

Organized by Valve Corporation and supported by Perfect World Co., Ltd., the event featured 16 elite teams. The tournament integrated traditional Chinese culture into its visual identity, including a Suzhou embroidery version of the Aegis of Champions created by artist Tang Xiaohong.

Following the tournament, the professional scene has entered a roster shuffle period. Virtus.pro announced the disbandment of its active roster on August 24, citing a failure to meet club goals. Additionally, Vici Gaming has disbanded its roster after failing to reach the TI 2026 Main Stage.
