Team Spirit wins The International 2026 Dota 2 championship

Team Spirit has become the first-ever three-time Dota 2 world champion after defeating TEAM VISION 3-2 in the grand finals of The International 2026. The tournament, held at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, featured a prize pool of approximately US$3.35 million.

With this victory, players Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov became the first to win three TI titles, having previously won in 2021 and 2023. Coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov also secured his third title, marking his first win as a coach. Mid laner Denis “Larl” Sigit reached his second TI title, while support players Alexey “not me” Kosmynin and Aleksandr “rue” Filin earned their first Aegis of Champions.

Team Spirit claimed US$1.4 million from the total prize pool. TEAM VISION, who entered the tournament as the top seed, finished in second place. The event also saw the retirement of veteran player Sumail following Nigma Galaxy’s elimination in the lower bracket.
