Tešanj opens new Special Police Unit facilities

The Special Police Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton has officially opened new facilities in Tešanj. The move is intended to strengthen police capacity and improve response times for citizens in the northern part of the Canton, specifically benefiting Tešanj, Doboj-Jug, and Usora.

Zenica-Doboj Canton Prime Minister Nezir Pivić stated that the government has invested over 30 million KM in security over the last three years, marking the largest investment in the sector in 20 years. Pivić noted that these improvements were achieved through responsible budget management without significant credit indebtedness. Interior Minister Emir Vračo added that the new premises represent a significant step forward in enhancing public safety.
