Teatro dell'Efebo to host Battiato tribute concert

The Teatro dell'Efebo in Agrigento will host “Battiato Tribute – La cura dell’eterno” on Thursday, August 27, at 21:00. Part of the “Efebo in Musica” 2026 program, the event is a symphonic-vocal tribute to the renowned Italian singer-songwriter Franco Battiato.

The performance will feature the Coro Lirico Siciliano, conducted by Maestro Francesco Costa, alongside vocalist Rita Botta. The program combines Battiato’s music and lyrics with orchestral and vocal arrangements. Giuseppe Pendolino, President of the Libero Consorzio di Agrigento, noted that the high demand for the show reflects the success of the theater's programming in providing high-level entertainment for residents and tourists.
