Teatro Gesualdo hosts sold-out performance of La Traviata

The Teatro Comunale Carlo Gesualdo in Avellino reached full capacity with over 1,200 attendees for a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata”. The production, organized by il Cimarosa, was part of the celebrations for the venue's 40th anniversary.

The performance featured the Orchestra and Chorus of il Cimarosa directed by Carlo Goldstein, with Luciano Branno leading the choir. Solo roles were performed by students from il Cimarosa. The event also marked the conclusion of Director Maria Gabriella Della Sala’s mandate.
