Lazio cultural events: theater, cinema, and Halloween festivities

The Lazio region, particularly Rome, is hosting a diverse array of cultural events from late October through early November 2026. The schedule includes the Pasolini Art Visual Territorio festival at Teatro Porta Portese, which features theatrical and musical performances dedicated to the thought and work of Pier Paolo Pasolini.

In Rome, the Teatro Natività will present “Fantasmagoria,” an original theatrical production involving a dialogue between writer Maria Cuono and director Claudia Cotti Zelati. Additionally, the Shakespeare in sneakers project is launching “Ritorno a Itaca,” a theatrical laboratory that integrates the myth of Ulysses with the lived experiences of migrants, people experiencing homelessness, and young artists.

Other notable activities include the inauguration of “Il Banco delle Arti,” a new cultural space at the Ponte Milvio Market managed by Le Chat Noir APS, and the ongoing Festa del Cinema di Roma, which showcases approximately 150 titles at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and other venues. Halloween-themed events are also scheduled, such as an illusionist show by Francesco Busani at the Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato.
