Several major technology and programming events are scheduled to take place in Romania this October.

Codecamp will hold two editions in Cluj-Napoca and Iași. The Cluj-Napoca event is set for October 20 at the Grand Hotel Italia, followed by masterclasses on October 21 and 22. The Iași event will feature a conference on October 29, with masterclasses held between October 15-16 and October 27-28. The program focuses on practical applications of AI in development, software architecture, microservices, and DevOps. Notable speakers include James Lewis, Kevlin Henney, Mark Richards, and J. B. Rainsberger.

Additionally, the 42nd Cloudflight Coding Contest (CCC), described as one of Europe’s largest on-site programming competitions, will take place in Cluj-Napoca on October 23 at CREIC. The contest offers three categories: classic CCC, data/ai CCC, and a school-specific CCC for high school students. Participants can compete individually or in teams using any programming language.
