Tech Invest 6 forum issues recommendations to boost Egypt's digital economy
The ninth annual Tech Invest 6 forum, organized by the General Division of Digital Economy and Technology at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, has concluded. Held under the auspices of Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Raafat Hindi, the event produced several recommendations aimed at boosting the Egyptian digital economy and ICT industry.
Key recommendations focus on supporting entrepreneurs and startups, maximizing the use of artificial intelligence to increase productivity, and expanding software and outsourcing exports. Participants also emphasized the need to develop data governance and privacy frameworks, enhance cloud computing and cybersecurity infrastructure, and encourage investment in data centers.
To improve global competitiveness, the forum suggested leveraging TIEC incubator programs and freelance initiatives to train Egyptian talent. Additionally, the recommendations called for flexible financing mechanisms to help high-impact startups transition into sustainable, scalable entities.
